مربوط به مقیاس دمایی که در آن نقطه انجماد آب ۰ درجه و نقطه جوش آب ۱۰۰ درجه است

مثال‌ها:

The weather forecast said it would be 35 degrees centigrade tomorrow, so we planned a trip to the beach.
In science class, we learned that water boils at 100 degrees centigrade under standard atmospheric pressure.
