وسیله‌ای نوری شامل لوله‌ای که در یک سر آن یک عدسی بی‌رنگ محدب و در سر دیگر آن یک شکاف قرار دارد، به طوری که شکاف در کانون عدسی است؛ پرتوهای نور از شکاف به صورت باریکه‌ای موازی خارج می‌شوند.
