تابعی که اگر تابع مشخصی از آرگومانها از یک آستانه معین فراتر رود، مقدار ۱ و در غیر این صورت ۰ میگیرد
a function that takes the value 1 if a specified function of the arguments exceeds a given threshold and 0 otherwise
مثالها:
- In neural networks, a threshold function determines whether a neuron fires based on the sum of its inputs.
- The spam filter uses a threshold function to classify an email as spam if the probability exceeds 0.8.
